We always suggest checking and following your strata’s bylaws and obtaining the necessary permissions before proceeding with the installation.
Where should the outdoor unit go in snowy conditions?
We typically suggest that the outdoor unit of a heat pump should be placed in a location with sufficient clearance from snow, ideally allowing for a couple of feet of space on all sides to ensure proper airflow and efficiency.
